Tearing aprt

So many tears
I'm surprised I didn't
drown
So many years
when all I felt was down
You say I'm dramatic
Well maybe I am
You never get it
Because you never understand
god, it feels forever
since i could smile again
it feels like eternity
I've never known who I am
I broke into pieces
You tried to pick me up
It never helped
I'm still messed up
All i can do is cut and burn
scorching and slicing
into my skin
only to ease
the death craving within
I fell into bits
once i heard those lies
once i felt the burn
of a broken heart
you try to help
but seriously
i still get torn
