A Puzzle

by Grace Delight   Nov 1, 2007

Stages set plays written the
Overture composed are you prepared for the
Unveiling of your true identity no
Longer existing for
Others but for yourself
Forget about us for once and
Focus on you at times yes
It may seem selfish but you give so much and never
Receive anything in return
Even a simple thank you is easily overlooked
Having you open up is one of those few moments that I treasure
Everlasting friendship is rare
And hard to find when one attempts to
Rip you from your pride you alo aspire
To rip them of their dignity no
One is safe from your wrath my hope is that
Forever will you remain by my side few can melt the
Ice of your heart yet the ones that
Can penetrate you strive to force out even though you seem
Emotionless
