Scaled Cave-Weeper

by Dannielle Jones   Nov 1, 2007

Deep Green eyes,
The breath of human flesh,
Teeth in a sharp grin,
Its song is a sin,
Lure them in,
With the power that has been given,
In the dark she lies,
Within the bed of coral,
Taken from her homeland,
To live in this sorrow,
Kill who defies,
Her laws of her cavern,
The water you see rises,
It is easy to despise,
She waits for them you see,
To come set her free,
To live as she once had,
And not as the cave hag,
She doesn’t get a choice,
She can hear the Dark Kings’ voice,
The deal that she made,
Stays until her final days.
