These cracks appear

But when light breaks out
And night draws to a close
The leaves start falling
And another crack appears

Watching as the sun appears
Crying inside, blood frozen tears
Listening to the birds soothing songs
Trying to keep breathing and sing along

Hitting the ground with such elegance
Causes me to create my own puddle
