Fluffy White Winter

by khobo   Nov 3, 2007

Winter comes and goes
Slowly, flake by flake
The trees shake off every last bit
Leaving their naked limbs.
The snowflakes, like feathers, float to the ground
Layers of fluff, soft like cotton, form
Snow people come to life
The cold brisk breeze hugs him
As he stands alone
In a pool of his makings
Soon its time to say goodbye
To his creator and friends
He shreds his last couple of tears
And waits 'til he returns again.
