Silenced By A Gun

by Miko   Nov 4, 2007

How can we watch so idly in silence
While our fellow students are getting hurt
We're so unaffected by the violence
Amused until blood spills upon our shirt

This won't end with a threat of suspension
Fights commence with a single glare
Will anyone ever find a solution
Or does no one really even care

Have we not learned from the innocent lives taken
Do we not see the error in our ways
Sooner than later will we no longer awaken
The hate will drive us to end our days

These problems will only get worse
Fury hides what they will do and have done
Their minds are jumbled, the Lord they will curse
How soon will they be silenced, with the shot of a gun?

Very true. It'd be nice if our school boared would do something, but we both know they won't. Kinda scarey eh? =\
