All i want is to feel her touch
i love her and only god knows how much
being in iraq makes you think a lot
especially about things you thought you forgot
some things you try not to think about
only force your real feelings to come out
how can i hide what feels so strong
when i've been feeling this way for so long
time seems to go by so slow
and what she's doing or thinking.....i don't even know
my heart feels so sad and alone
all i want is to go home
they tell me to stay focused but i think about it anyway
i would give my life for her anyday
no words can change how i feel
no magician can tell me this isn't real
all i want is to hold her in my arms
i'd sacrifice my own body to keep her from harm
sadness is my fear and my heart is haunts
