First Day of School

by Aussie   Nov 5, 2007

Once upon a dreary day, nervy first day, of a school day,
fill in my locker and go to class, as if it's yesterday's knews,
walking class to class, pleasure learning the way to class,
excitement humms fill the classroom, she's retired that's nothing new,
homework from very happy teachers, are expected knews,

cold first period, fogged my touch,
history played almost by sight, in the science room,
i sacked into my chair before school started,
bling, running, roaring, students flond the room,
unknown faces dropped into chairs of wood,

Ms. got up and spoke once she could,
lines i memorized from ones before,
zoned out from reality, until something caught eye of mine,
a memory at the age of four,

my lonely dreary pity week,
turned into a shining, happy, greeting,
friendships blossomed very quickly,
without any energy burning,
and no worries of bulling

*this was a project for school. i had to make the same pattern(abcbb) as the Raven by Poe*
