Saleswoman [not finished]

by Anonymous   Nov 7, 2007

To the mall is where I went,
Just to take a stroll,
I had no clue this very trip,
Would prove to take it's toll,

The smell of paint bled through the air,
Kind of made me sick,
I thought "Oh well, I don't care"
I'll continue on my trip,

With people weaving in and out,
I dissembled into them,
Soon consumed by the crowd,
My hands and feet were tense,

Then I caught a whif of heaven,
Intruiged I tracked the smell,
Cinnamon, that was the scent,
The scent I knew too well,

Wonderstruck and dazed by the,
Appetite perfume,
I was unaware that I,
Was headed towards my doom,

It just so happens that there was,
Standing in my path,
An attractive young sales woman,
Asking for my hands,

I looked into her eyes to see,
A request so pure so genuine,
She drained all my temerity,
Her requst, I could not deny,

Looking back now, that was when,
I should have recognized the lure,
Instead rheeled in, by the siren,
My ship would hit the shore,
