You can't see stars

by Cherise   Nov 7, 2007

You can't see stars,
through this thick smoke,
and on these never ending train tracks,
everyone else with us can see,
Finally you realize,
this is where your meant to be,
dancing your way through these
inter-whining smoke rings,
until you at last reached your peak.

I was glad to have been there,
standing next to you,
I guess the things that I was feeling..
You could feel them too.
Be happy
feel numb
watch your words just bounce away,
Forget about everyone,
continue drift on in your daze.

I guess we can love,
You guess we can hate,
such feelings now, have no meaning,
no more emotions for people to dictate.
we all continue to keep our highs up,
and keep our lows low.
we dig how our minds are melting,
even though it's cold.

Then suddenly,
the smoke rings begin to fade,
and back to earth we go,
we manage to keep our sorrows inside,
then, it begins to snow.

You can never explain such feelings
can you?
They won't understand,
for they can't let go,
ever since they kept their feelings hands.
Maybe one day, others could join us.
And decide to never look back.
May they one day take a trip with us
on these never ending train tracks
