Once upon a time

Once upon a time
i had a dream
i was floating away from here
drifting somewhere new

a place where no one fought
where everyone got along
we had nothing to worry about
we were just alive and doing well

instead of worrying about money
we spent time just being together
instead of working away our lives
we spent time doing what we love

made me start to wonder
what the world is really like
how did it get like this
how did this all become

from the greed of the country
from always wanting more
why did it become like this
when we could have so much more

we could be happy
we could actually be free
but we decide to remain here
stuck behind the walls unfree.
