Learning to Live.

by Brittany   Nov 10, 2007

There are times when you are so immature,
And yet I find myself loving you anyways,
Whether you run around or stick your tongue out,
I love you more every single day.

There's lessons I'd wish you'd learn,
Sometimes I just want you to listen to me,
But I know you've got to make mistakes,
That's just the way things have to be.

There are nights when you amaze me,
You penetrate my deepst thoughts,
Then there are times you shy away,
Afraid you will be caught.

I've been here just as long as you have,
And I don't know any more,
Just come play with me, let's be carefree,
And learn what fate has in store.
