Hidden

A hidden bruise on her hand and a hidden emotion behind her face
Nothing is going right anymore and she doesn’t feel safe
She's running but he's catching up to her with the consequence of a broken heart
She's running away but he's catching up to her and she's not wining the race

A tougher feeling she has to feel, and all he does is make her weak
A tear rolls down her face and its invisible to him she guesses
This is not what was supposed to happen she said
And all he sees is past through her what was once what he loved

He shakes her and all she feels is how numb her heart is
What did I do to deserve this?
How in the world can he do this?
A slap from here and a kick from there
And yet nothing hurts as much as him changing into someone else.
