Passing from this world

by Sean   Nov 10, 2007

The sun was radiantly glowing, as
our pain was clearly showing.

No dark forsaken clouds could be seen.
No emotion was as keen, as
the forbidding feeling of complete pain.
The slow moving cars, gradually drives us insane
The sun begins to ease the anguish of the torturing hour,
all together, we joined our power.

We soon reached the gates,
of that dreaded place.

Then the cars came to a brief but sudden halt.
Our hearts tucked away; like money locked tightly in a vault.
As we stepped out,
the wind picked up and swirled about.
The clouds raged overhead, as
we travelled through the mud; silently we were led.

We could not challenge fear, face to face, although,
our prayers silently made there way, to the high above place.

Our tears were seen, as
our loved one was now a place we had not been.

The rain abruptly faded away, as
a rainbow appeared, here to stay.
The sign that shows he is always here, the
calming feeling, that we have nothing to fear;
through the trees, the wind still whirled.
An obvious sign, you were now passing from this world.
