Why did you do the things you did?

by Hannah   Nov 11, 2007

You called me a liar, even though I was not,
You were the one who ended our friendship,
You choose to get high and smoke pot.
I didn't make these choices for you.
You don't know the meaning of stop,
I thought our friendship was true,
But aparently it was far from it.
You were not caring,
Not even one little bit.
I held your hand, but you didn't hold mine.
You were a bad friend,
You always crossed the line,
Into the darker side.
You were a mean monster, who scared me,
I hated you in every way,
Don't you see,
Our friendship meant nothing and I'm almost glad,
That this friendship ended
Even though it was sad,
But it wasn't even my fault, it was yours,
Not his,
And certainly not hers.
Friendship is an important thing to like,
But you don't understand the meaning,
Of taking a hike.
Why did you do the things you did,
I wish this was just a game,
And I could put the lid back on.
But I cannot because of the damage you did.
I wish I am sorry but I am not.
