how are things these days
do you remember me
we met when i was in grade twelve
i remember you clearly
you've become my high school memory
always unlocking the door
with a friendly smile on your face
no matter how the day went
you had a smile for all to see
when hard things came
you took the time and made
the hard challenges easy
well thats part of you
you always put your self second or third
when i was upset
your words got me threw
you were my escape
when i gave up on the world
helping with lunches
i swaire you were the nicest one
at that school i just began
they hated me writing notes
but you wrote back
and it helped me understand
not everyone here is all the same
out of my shell
i started to breathe
knowing whatever i could tell you
would never change a thing
thats part of you but not all
your heart was the beginning
of a new world
your actions some of them i wanted to do
because when i look at you
i see a girl who made it threw
when it feels the world has ended
i see a girl who smiles
i see a girl i call my role model
when i hear them say your name
i say i know that friend
shes so beautiful inside and out
shes a survivor shes a angel

always found a time to add you in my day
always found a time to know how you feel
try-ed to find ways to help you threw the day
when i never saw you smile

while you read the words
i new a smile would pop out soon
