13

by Jenna Rose Kat   Nov 15, 2007

I've been so lost,
So tattern and worn,
I've been dying in hate,
Before the light is born.

I've traveled on the path of misery,
And lived in the shadows,
There is no point in living,
There is no life through windows.

No one knows where I am,
I've been gone for 13 days,
13 days of raw death,
Can I escape this maze?

Things are moving so quick,
My ground is falling beneath me,
Crumbling in 13 steps,
Never allowing me to see.

I'm drowning in my own breath,
Suffocating on the 13th floor,
I'm lost in a sea of pain,
Can you lead me to the shore?

As my weary heart turns to black,
My whispered sin is all I own,
Don't forgive me for everything,
Leave me here on the 13th stone.

I am bleeding 13,
13 shades of blood,
13 ways to die,
13 reasons to never be loved.

Forgive my 13 sins,
Forgive my unloving heart,
Forget all wrong I've done,
Let me return to the start.

Come with me on a journey,
Forget what you've seen,
And bring along only blood,
Remember, we are the 13.

Bleed for all the misery,
Kill for all my pain,
Where is the 13th lie?
Yes, I know I am not sane.

Please forgive 13 sins,
Please forget 13 ways,
Please leave 13 children,
Please forget all I say.

I've walked 13 million miles,
Through sunshine and muck,
Through rivers and streams,
I know I've no luck.

13 is all I'll love,
Sweet rage and misery,
Revenge for every cruel word,
13 is sucking out all of me.
