It was so sad we didnt know what to do
But I guess God had a bigger plan for you,
You wait in heaven and we'll meet you there
I hope you always know baby mummy does care.

You would have been such a beautiful child,
I swear I'd have settled down and not been so wild,
But baby you gotta understand I was so scared,
So young, so unprepared.

I didnt get to hold you and it hurt so much inside,
I sat there feeling empty and cried,
Daddy and mummy will always love you Joe,
Naming our next son after you, will hopefully show.

How we wish people would see it our way,
Always judging with something to say,
But baby boy it's not about them, I promise you weren't a mistake,
And that's one promise I can never break

Time goes on Joey I'm sure
Lucky it's one more day till we meet once more
