" A Contradicting Reality"

by Stephanie Ricks   May 10, 2004

Fireflies and fairy tales,
Of endless magic
And a world where love prevails.
And a sky so full of beauty and wonder,
Never frightening not even by beholding the loudest thunder.
All from a very vivid imagination,
And if I may,a great creation.
I never thought any less of this world,
Cause thats all I knew as a young girl.
But now it seems that evil prevails,
And the good try yet constantly fail.
What will become of our fair earth?
Will we ever just co-exist without betrayal,dis-trust and hurt.
