Afraid

I have very special friends
Fiends I do not want to loose
But afraid I may.

I am afraid,
Afraid to care for someone
Afraid to fall in love.

I am afraid,
Afraid I am going to hurt someone
And loose that special one.

If I fall in love with you
Would you let me down
Or would you love me too?

My life is so uncertain
As I do not know
What tomorrow will bring.

There is a fire burning
Burning inside of me
A fire I can not explain.

If I hurt you, please understand
I did not mean to hurt you
It is the life I am in.

    I can totally relate to what you've written... I feel the same fear of everything around me.. I like to write about how strong I am but from the inside this fear is deeply rooted in me.. sorry I got a little carried away... Anyway this poem is simple and true , I love it 5/5
