For as long as i remember,
we were a pair.
For as long as i remember,
everything about us was fair.
For as long as i remember,
our hearts were entwined.
For as long as i remember,
our parents have whined.
For as long as i remember,
you were all that mattered.
For as long as i remember,
you done nothing but flatter.
For as long as i remember,
i have loved you.
Now all i remember,
are your words " we are through "

    Hmm... I enjoy your writing style it's happy but it ends sad but... It realy makes you think about the poem and I found myself reading it again...

    If you ended it sweet/lovely... It would have been just a sweet/lovely poem... I found it to be still sweet/lovely... But you feel your pain at the end so you tend to read it again... Great job!

    You did a wonderful job though. I like the reptition. And, the way you worded it was great.
    The ending was bam, which is good, eh.

    Maybe capitalize your I's and stuff.
