Standard drinks
Are only a guide.
Many of you
Refuse to abide.

Gulp, gulp, gulp.
The liquid does flow.
Just gone is seconds
Before you say 'go'.

Drink after drink.
Bottle after bottle sizes.
The alcohol level
Start to rises.

Happy hour is gone
Now the cash comes out.
Thats what the celebration
Is all about.

Eleven comes
And you're out the door.
Forgot to stop yourself
From drinking more.

You're so drunk
You don't think
You should have stopped
After the first drink.

Open road
And no cars around.
Somehow two wheels
Come off the ground.

The car flips left
And rolls once or twice.
Killing them in front of you
And it wasn't so nice.

You were the only one
That wore a belt
And gotten out
Before the car began to melt.

Headlights appear
And you stop the car
'I killed them!!' you say
Pointing afar.

The ambulance is called
To hospital you go.
Closing your eyes
Blood level low.

Later you die
From loss of too much blood
You lie there soaked
In a thickened flood.

But a standard drink
Is just a guide
And as a result
Your friends all fried.
