My Open Sea.

by Teria   Nov 23, 2007

My Open Sea.

Calm yourself, my open sea,
rush your waters over me.
Turn around the other way.
Don't drown me over, not today.

Watch me wish, watch me pray.
for all the things . . that's gone away.
Make me float, make me breath.
Take me over, don't you leave.

it's love, my darling,
my open water.
It's love, I know it;
The things we feel.
The bond between.
It's love, it's love, oh it's love.

Run your waves through my hair,
touch me here, touch me there.
Wash me clean of all my sins.
Come with me, my dearest friend.

Rinse me out, look inside.
What's inside my weary soul?
But love for you, my darling sea.
but love for you -
from the best part of me.

There's no such thing as love at first sight.
But I can tell you what I feel tonight.
The peace I felt when I looked at you.
The beauty withheld from all the world
hidden within your crystal blue waves -
that caress my body in all the right ways.

The chilliness of your touch sends me chills.
But I think it's your depths that warms me up.
My soul it melts then forms into wax,
awaiting you to ignite the fire within me.
And, then it happens - I roar into flames.
And you put me out with your wondrous waves.
