Bare Back Demension

by cowgirlstar26   Nov 24, 2007

(dedicated to cooper)

When there is no one left
a million apologies cease
my heart turns to pewter
and my soul cries for mercy

When the skies are black
starless, brooding with clouds
I search for my solid rock
walking up without a sound

My knight, my hope
he carries me away
into this bareback dimension
our spirits are the same

gravity has no limits
running faster,taking flight
on the back of my angel
soaring to new heights

no saddle or bridle
only trust is required
when I'm clinging to his neck
running on ice and fire

as the wind whips through my hair
and ground disappears beneath our feet,
hoof beats drown out my thoughts
that when I feel it, I'm truly free
