Walking down the Isle.

by Spoken Silence   Nov 26, 2007

Slowly I walk down the Isle,
Looking at you smiling.
My dress, long and white so elegant.
Flowers all around us,
'What a beautiful wedding.' People say.
You look so happy,
But I notice it's not me who you're looking at.
You're looking into the crowd, looking at her.
Smiling at her, not noticing me.
Once I join you about to exchange our 'I dos'
You're still looking at her,
with those loving eyes,
that once looked at me.
You look back at me, your smile fades away.
It's not me on your mind when were in bed.
It's not me on your mind when you say 'I love you.'
It's not me your getting married to.
But still, you look at her.
