Calma

by Screenager   Nov 27, 2007

Ahead of me...
a dark light will shine on me,
forget all my memories,
of being free.

It's too bad,
that your conscience lies,
within their grasp.

Calma,
free souls should roam this world,
making us smile again,
never the same.

Broken clouds...
a dark light should shine on me,
forgive all the things I said,
about you.

So be bad,
break them down,
in their misery.

Calma,
a free soul should roam this world,
make me smile again,
never the same.

But Calma,
forsake all your crazy dreams,
making my heart ache,
you're too good.

Once again very good! And this one alludes to Darkshines! I like how you can incorporate Muse into it..and still make it entirely your own, with different meanings...possible like a prequel to the song. This is very good, looking at it as a separate entity...good job!

Woow... Empty Space told me about you and I am very impressed. Good technique and I love the repetition of certain verses. It really is beautiful! What I think would be interesting is adding a bit of raw emotion into this poem... but thats just an idea :) anyhow i really love your work and I look forward to seeing more of your poems!

This is really good. the repeating of the word 'calma' is very effective. and i agree with empty space. it seems like this shoould be a song.
    preferable a screamo/pop song.

and thank you for your comments on my poems.
