Early Mourning

by hippiehxc   Nov 28, 2007

-This probably won't make sense to many people, But honestly, it's not supposed to. If you can picture it, it's easy.-

It seems as though we've reached the point to break.
There's not much more of this out hearts can take.
We can forget all that's happened; put the truth aside.
Or we can bleed out or hearts until they're dry.
Wear them out.
We can go to sleep tonight, and wake up in each other's arms.
It was meant to be this way, darling. Don't be alarmed.
Your eyes are losing their colour.
This train is leaving you behind with just your thoughts as company.
Your heart is being worn on your sleeve for all to see.
What happened to your promises? They've come and passed.
"Forever" was your word. I have to say, its fading fast.
The wings are blackening.
This music is beginning to drown us. Try to take a breath.
Of this lie, these rings are all we have left.
The ship is sinking, and we'll go down with it.
For this tragedy, darling.. You were never fit.

The silence is deafening.

-Pretty much just another broken love story.

Hmm...i think your right that we may never fully understand it. But pieces of it are easy to grasp and I really enjoyed it. You write very well and I think I'll truly enjoy more of your work.
