Shadow of Your Dreams

by Chase   Nov 29, 2007

Out of all the nights,
all the desires,
all the wishes,
all the dreams.

I will be their shadow.

The nights you'd lay in bed
and dream your Brother near.
They now shall lay; forgotten--
all forgotten tears.

Impending dawning days
of desires-- come what may.
The skies in the land of Evol
never looked this gray.

Laces of light from stars above,
always looked inviting.
Perhaps the moon, wishing, in of itself,
wasn't so inciting.

Forgotten, all forgotten.
The dreams, nothing, but forgotten.

In those moonlit beams,
My heart's will bids to scream.
The gray to cover the sun,
it seems,
makes my your shadow disappear,

I'm the shadow of your dreams.
