Another Day Without You

by Chase   Nov 29, 2007

As much as it may seem
I'm better off without you,
The truth of the matter is
My hearts been ripped in two.

As happy as I look,
It's all a deceitful lie.
But I never expected you to believe,
Those lies-- you can deny.

I know it might be hard to trust
what I say is true.
At least I know what my heart needs,
and it needs to be with you.

I'm through with playing games,
that hurt you as well as I.
But know one thing, if anything at all,
I never meant Goodbye.

My heart cries out-- without you,
I've felt the pain we share.
Please believe me when I say,
I'm through with this despair.

I don't know what else to say to you,
Or answer questions, unknown.
I can not take one more foul day,
Of living for dieing, alone.

So why can't this pain begone,
and what we have been through?
It's because I love you, and can't go on
Another day without you.

I need you,
I can't run anymore....
I need you.

I'm not sure if I like the ending but the poem as a whole blew me away because I could easily relate. I do think you could have expanded on your vocabulary because it seemed to simple but all in all I think it was great. *5/5*
