Fallen Walls

What happened to them?
Where have they gone?

It's like they were never there
Each one fell as she walked up to them

But she won't hurt me
She only wants to help and protect

All my walls gone
And there she stands, right where the last one belongs

My heart fully exposed
All my weaknesses show

And yet she keeps her distance
As if to show me she really cares

My heart begins to heal
At a speed so fast I didn't know possible

She keeps me warm and keeps the pain away
No wall I ever had could do that

Someone tell me what this means
Do I love her?

Is it meant to be?
Or am I dreaming all over again

Clear away my uncertainties
And let only the truth show through

Guide me through and let me find the truth
