When she dances

by damont   Dec 15, 2007

She moves with grace

the flow of her hands

the expression on her face

seduction of the mind

her bodies movements without time

her feet move the soul

her hands soften the hardest of stones

her body calms the raging winds within

every pose she makes captures the esssence of those who in take

she becomes the angel of love

she grabs the attention of the heavens above.

her beauty is of dreams

while her body tells a story

her soul is set free

entertainment for those who only see

her dance becomes a lifestyle for thee

yet all she does is listen to the music and let the flow take control

she can even silence the screams of hell

and quite the calm them like chimes and bells

does this person who dances even exist

but this tale is true i must insist

The beginning of this flowed best but then you wrote some longer lines and they threw it off a bit. Keeping the same line length generally helps the flow stay steady.
But other than that, this is excellent. You created crystal clear imagery, I could imagine this person dancing and everything about it through your words, which is a powerful thing to write. It's also a pretty original topic, I have hardly, and if not, never read about dancing on here. I enjoyed the story you told within this piece, it kept me interested the whole way through and you used your vocab very well.
    Excellent piece.
