There, You Are

by 19Rusty   Dec 15, 2007

You were never a relation to me,
a sister, acquaintance, friend or foe,
no, you were the last thing that could
be said as for knowing you with a title,
love.

I will never speak to you as friends walk,
of hobbies, fun things in the future, we
will never talk because of not wanting
disturbance there is a lock on us, as
our noses give firm breaths to keep us
moving, that hold that doesn't breaks,
lips locked, eyes in place.

There has been a time of hatred and
tears, of longing and memories, of
keeping each other wanting more, to stop
everything and say only of love, reflection
in place can't do a things, cold is hung in the
air, and breaks are held on,
tell me my next move, will you get your
thoughts back, or will tears tell the romance
story that began to singe all along.

Suspicions are one things, flirting is for
children, keep watching me, is it still light
out, but who were you thinking of, a mistake,
was anything else used to cover up my own,
doubled to loosen fear of clinging on,
extra years, just like before only this time
with less tears, you've been informed, you
have more cheer, he prays for you speak the
word, look how proud he stands, my absence
may be of nothing, I love you, sorry if I can't.
