Why cant he love me

by Tonya   Dec 15, 2007

As breath departs my body
At your every illusory presence
Mindful questions flitter in disarray
Searching for empty answers

Must my heart ache for hallucinatory images
Of pure vigor without foundation
Can my eyes seek what is legendary
To those which exist in nirvana

Are you compelled to a sport of unfair advantage
entertaining solely to you
Jubilant at the ignorance of the consequence
of my impaired predicament

Is our love to exhale on the icy breath
of unilluminated oblivion
Or is the romance just speculation
from a barren heart abandoned by love

Aww that sucks when someone doesn't take care of a heart. I'm sorry you had to go through this, but this is an awesome poem. 5/5
