The world was spinning
the rain pouring
out of the darkness stepped an angel
walking towards him i began to shake
for right then i new my fate
he took me in his arms
he held me close
he told me of a better time and place
he showed me what it was like to love
what it was like to trust
i lost sight along the way
but by my side he chose to stay
never will i be full of fright
because he's my angel in the night
