Everthing

by Brandon Lee   Dec 16, 2007

I am everything you want, I am everything you need.
I am everything you feel, I am everything you breath.
I am everything know, I am everything you bleed.
I am everything you think, I am everything you breed.
When you look into the mirror I am everything you see.
When you look inside yourself I am everything you want to be.
I am everything yet I am nothing in the same.
I am everything, yet I have no name.
I sit behind your eyes and speak with in you mind.
You seek so hard yet I am something you can never find.
I whisper to you through out the night, yet to me you show no fright.
You know I would never hurt you, yet instead I keep you safe.
I am what urges you on, giving you courage when you are afraid.
I hold you close when your alone, yet you can not feel me there.
When your eyes show pain, I wish only to wipe away your tears.
For even when you feel abandonded I am always there.
When you feel so hopeless, I am with you and for you I do care.
Even when you can not feel it I lay beside you holding you till you fall sound asleep in your bed.
Though it seems there is so little I can do, I still do so much... even though I am no longer apart of life because I am now dead.

Ever heard the song everything you want by vertical horizon? the line "I am everything you want, I am everything you need" plus theres a line in the song "i am everything inside of you that you wish you could be" - just reminicent of that, but the ideas are totally different. its an amazing poem - i thought the person talking was God, but then there was the whole being dead part. 5/5 for being thought provoking
