Forgivness

by Brandon Lee   Dec 16, 2007

The lights go out, in the darkness it was bread.
In the stillness of the night on to me the creature said.
I wish to understand how you feel so for this girl.
She hurt you in the deepest of ways, yet you hold her as your world.
She stabbed you in the heart, yet you give it back to her agian.
She gave you the worst kind of pain, yet the two of you will carry on?
To the demon I replied, I am sorry for you will never know what it is to love.
It's simply a gift given from the creator above.
He stood there silently for a moment and I swore in his eye I saw a tear.
Than as quickly as he came, in to the night he disappeared.

Interesting poem... Its deep yet not concise, and it has more meaning to it than meets the eye. I really like the way it was written... and it flowed nicely.
