In your car.

by Spoken Silence   Dec 16, 2007

As we ride in your car,
The music playing soft songs.
No ones talking.
I'm looking out the window.
Watching the rain fall down
from distant skies.
Neither of us say a word.
As much as we want to utter
Those soft words that we are dying to hear.
Miles pass I'm still silent.
Even though you're right beside me.
Your dark green eyes stare at the road.
Protective and in love as you are.
I look at you and as I watch
I can finally say I love you.

(OK, this isn't that good. I'm slightly having writers block)
