Awake at night

When i lay awake at night
I sit and i cry
Alone in the dark
Wishing i'd die

Thinking life isn't worth it anymore
Those are the thoughts in my head
That life isn't worth all the pain i endure
That im better off dead

Sometimes things get worse
So i reach for the blade
It works for a while
And helps some of my pain fade

Hopefully soon everything will be good
ill be better
And ill stop cutting
Like i said i would

I know i have friends and family
That love me a lot
But its just that from time to time
I forgot

I just need to be reminded
Of everyone i have
And of all the love they have for me
And then ill get better you'll see...
