Darkness Surrounds

Living in this darkness wanting to see the light
feeling of weakness, no strength to win this fight
torn between love, torn between hate
trying to decide what side is truly my fate

Feels like chains wrapped around my ankles keepin me from living
the hatred and the anger keeps me from giving
good is what I long for, light is what I seek
but living in this darkness my wishes it defeat

I can't bare to get up, and just walk away
for my eyes cannot see in the dark whats in my way
tears forming in my eyes, thoughts creeping through my head
with all this darkness around me, I feel Im already dead
