I slowly fade into the night
waiting for you to end this terrible fright.
My heart, insane and clueless of my surroundings
I mumble as if you were around me.

my best friend, my soul mate
I sit in the pavement whistling our song
and wondering what i had done wrong.

A figure appears and wipe my tears away
You smile and say I love you
I breathe my last breath
