The children of our world

by Iola   Dec 24, 2007

The children of our world alone
Living desperately without homes
Still people make them to fill their lives
Entertain and accompany their wives

The children of our world afraid
Of family life and it's darkening shade
No one wants to play along
Whilst singing along their unheard song

The children of our world feel hunger
Parents building their empires stronger
Pathetic houses build on money and power
Crying faces peak from each castle's tower

The children of our world do not know love
Mommy's face hides behind make-up and dove
Daddy went away to buy us all more toys
Gathering more of what eventually destroys

The children of our world turn into us
More power hungry blind-stricken rust
Spreading sperm for an empty legacy in vain
The children of our world is going insane
