The Only Thing You Said To Me (sonnet)

by Charlie   Dec 26, 2007

A million words have been through are lips
More than a thousand our fingers have linked
Countless times sway the motion of our hips
And all with you in the dream that we blinked

The sounds of the joy a constant remind
Together we made the sunshine so bright
Not needing my eyes for my love is blind
But I forgot my ears without my sight

But now its dark, you made it, then you walk
And the song we sang is nothing but slurred
At once I heard sound and many do talk
When I stand and scream, you don't say a word

The pain, the love, I could drown what I cry
But all that you speak to comfort is " Die "
