Born in Hell

by shadow   Dec 27, 2007

Everything in life changes in some way
The sky and sea are the only things that stay
People grow up, grow old and die away
But time keeps on ticking for you and me

I have just one simple thing for you to do
Ask what it is this life has in store for you?
What goes through that strange mind you call home?
What do you think of when you're sitting all alone?

What happens when you close your eyes at night
Is it your emotions or memories you struggle to fight?
I can only imagine the kind of demons in your soul
Eating away what you are until there's just a black hole

You must of been born in the flames of hell
Your eyes scream of secrets you refuse to tell
Your the kind that struggles to get up from a fall
Asking a million questions with no answers at all

When you fall to sleep late in the dark what do you see?
Are your dreams full of nightmares of what could be?
I bet you'd give anything to wake from those dreams
So you no longer wake from you own endless screams
