Tale as old as time

by jLegendc   Dec 29, 2007

Tale as old as time,
Who knew words can rhyme?
Strangers as our lives were designed,
Then later our hearts might combine...

We can start as friends,
Get to know each other for our hearts content,
Then we'll actually see,
What our wishes will guarantee...

Uncertained s the weather,
Through our hearts we'll wander,
To see what is unseen,
To go to a place we haven't been...

Though I can see your beauty is beyond my reach,
And I know I'm no prince charming to say the least,
And I know I'm not worthy,
But please look right through me...

Tale as old as time,
All my words can rhyme,
As long as the sun will shine,
I'll wait for the right time,
When you become mine....
