The Beginning

On a dark and gloomy night,
In a winter so white,
There shone a spark of light.

This is where the story starts,
Like a small swift dart.

The beginning of a story,
Of a girl truly lonely.

For where she goes,
No one can follow,
And when she returns,
No one shall know,
Where she has been,
No one shall wonder,
Alas, when she cries,
No one will care,
But the sky will rain!

Her tears and the night shall be one,
Things will change when all is done,
For a girl who’s dreams are lost,
Her broken heart like frost,
Till two paths come again and cross.
