He Can Only Hold Her

by TRAGiC BEAUTY   Dec 30, 2007

He can only hold her in the dark of night
Because according to everyone, it's not right
Feelings and everything, they don't care
So, to kiss in public, they wouldn't dare

He can only hold her when the world is pitch black
And the world can never know that she loves him back
Everyone else is on a whole different page
Society forces them to keep it all staged

He can only hold her when nobody can see
They have to be quiet because everyone disagrees
She wishes she could put it to them straight
But she knows that she is instant jail bait

He can only hold her in a place that's dead
No one can see as he kisses her head
They feel as if they are living in a cage
But love knows no rules, and love knows no age
