Breathing hard, your heart is thumping.
You tell me things that don't even make sense.
You keep grabbing my hand,
And I keep kissing it.
You smile as you say that Life is one big game.

Your eyes are half-open,
And you stop talking.
You're still breathing,
And I was surprised as tears started
Trickling down my face.

I remember the times you taught me about Love.
That if you love someone, you'd do anything for them.
That you'd even die for them.
So I asked you, Do you love me?
You said Yes, and I continued crying.

My heart was pierced,
Even when you were still there beside me.
I was almost a wreck,
Everything was falling apart.
My family didn't care about me anymore.
Only you did.

But then you were fading away,
Leaving me to suffer,
And as I think about this,
You say, I love you, but forget me
And you close your eyes and take
Your Last Breath.

Now you're gone,
And I'm left alone.
I'm drowning in my own sorrow and grief,
But you're not there to help me.
