Missed Memories.

by Spoken Silence   Jan 3, 2008

What do I miss about you?
What can I miss about you?
Theirs just to many things to write in one simple poem.
I could say I miss the warmth of a body next to me at night.
Or maybe that soft gentle kiss that you gave me.
The way your body tightened when you held me.
What about that soothing voice that whisked me to sleep.
I can think back to the times I could stare into your eyes for hours.
And how we walked down the beach and you said the sunset was stupid.
You said you gained happiness in hearing my laughter.
And you never wanted to see me sad,
But when you left I was hit with the worst sadness of all,
So here I am writing this poem telling you that I miss you.
That I miss your touch and your smile.
How can I go on?
Please come back
I miss you.

You need not someone just for happiness.True happiness resides within ones self.I hope you find it soon.
