What We Forbade

by Armada the Gestalt   Jan 3, 2008

What we are,
Is fading away again,
What we have become,
Is just going too far,
I live off the affliction,
And blessings in the cell,
I need a cure for this,
Disease before I,
Fall to you as well.

It eats us from the inside,
Blissfully repenting,
I know I should be screaming but,
I dare not breathe the air,
These tears they fall from my eyes,
Mixing underwater,
Will I ever know since we're alive now,
Like raindrops and the sea.

I call to the dementia,
This monster,
Consuming,
Purring, hissing as it devours,
To swallow whole and renew,
These withered strings,
Binding the heart.

We are,
What we forbade,
When I stole away,
We are,
What you forgave,
And I regret,
So I...

Come with me,
Take this decayéd hand,
Lead me onwards,
Let me corrode and become,
Your puppet brother,
Tear this,
Beloved pathogen
From my body; Drink it down,

You remind me of the beast,
The star that burns my soul away,
That beast I love and loathe.

Awesome job. Defintely thought provoking and a refreshing read. I probably repeat myself in these comments, but I just LOVE your word use, it's not of your ordinary everyday poems. :) Just an amazing write overall

Ja! Haha. Okay, so I've been wondering this. What is up with your name Schemilix.. intriguing.
