RoleModel?

by sexyCheckers   Jan 5, 2008

Youre meant to be my role model,
But you're tripping over your feet.
Youre supposed to teach me things,
Like how to manage defeat.

Youre meant to teach me about life,
And how difficult times can become.
Youre meant to point out the better things,
And what you gain if you have won.

Youre role is a mother and a bestfriend,
But you can't seem to get it right.
Instead you yell, and drink all night,
Deflecting Love, and inviting fights.

Youre meant to love me no matter what,
But here you are pointing out my faults.
All my life you hated me,
And this is your result.

We don't have any kind of relationship,
We should have moved on by now and let it go.
And maybe that's what Ill do next year when I leave,
I just wish I had the guts to let you know.
